Overview
This exciting opportunity at North Somerset involves being part of a team that aims to make the area more open, fair, and eco-friendly. We’re looking for three Project Managers to join us for a 12-month fixed term. You will focus on transformation projects within Corporate Services, Places, or Children’s Directorates. Work closely with our Programme Management Office (PMO) team, supported by our PMO Manager.
Your Role
Engage in pivotal projects that will reshape council services, redefine how our organization operates, and positively impact the lives of residents and businesses. Champion best practices in project management across North Somerset Council.

Desired Skills
Project Management Savvy: Demonstrated success in project management is important. Communication and teamwork skills are vital as you build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Self-Driven & Team Player: Manage your time effectively, thrive in team settings, and take initiative.
Understanding the Project Cycle: A solid grasp of project life cycles is necessary. Prepare reports, present data to senior management, and guide strategic decisions.
Analytical Skills: Experience supporting complex projects and conducting thorough investigations and analyses for project design, delivery, and benefits realization.
